Hi! Stanley noticed the money that we use here in Italy is not the same as in the United States. We don't use dollars, we use Euros. 1 Euro is equal to about $1.35.

Flat Stanley is enjoying the beach and warm weather here in Hawaii! He is staying on the Marine Corps base, on the island of Oahu. He had a wonderful Thanksgiving and ate turkey, ham, potatoes, stuffing and pumpkin pie!! He is looking forward to trying some surfing and hula dancing. We will be sending pictures very soon!

Hello again from Denver, CO. Flat Stanley and I made our way to the Denver Public Library today in order to get some homework done before the Thanksgiving holiday gets here! What is everyone doing back in South Dakota for Thanksgiving? I hope eating lots of turkey and mashed potatoes! Flat Stanley and I will be spending our Thanksgiving working, because the sick people in the hospital need to be taken care of! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I miss you Cow!

Attached are the pictures of the outside of the Denver Public Library and of Flat Stanley inside the library with all of the hundreds of thousands of books! I promise Flat Stanley's adventures will become a bit more exciting in the days to come! :-)

Ant's Flat Stanley arrives in Naples, Italy

Ciao and greetings from bella Napoli, Italia! Flat Stanley's Italian adventure has started with a view of Mt. Vesuvius which overlooks Naples. Mt. Vesuvius is most famously known for it's eruption in 79AD which completely covered Pompeii and Herculaneum with volcanic debris. The debris preserved these towns and they are still being excavated today. Arriverderci for now!

Flat Stanley Goes to India

Jackrabbit's Flat Stanley took off for India last week. He sent a photo today of how he traveled and how much he's enjoying the vegetables in India!

Flat Stanley Arrives in Denver, Colorado!

A BIG hello to Cow and all of his classmates!! Flat Stanley arrived in Denver, Colorado, which is also known as the "Mile High City," because the city is exactly one mile above sea level. Flat Stanley was very excited to see the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and is looking forward to all of his adventures in the city of Denver. Stay tuned!

Safe and sound in Brooklyn for Jackrabbit

Jackrabbit arrived in New York City last week! He was very happy to find his new home in Brooklyn where he met a friend who whisked him off to India until the end of November. Jackrabbit will post pictures of his adventures soon!
