Flat Stanley Visits Glasgow, Scotland

A few weekends ago, two of my friends got married in Glasgow, Scotland.  Flat Stanley tagged along to the wedding and had a great time listening to bagpipes and admiring the kilts (which look like skirts) that many of the men wore.

Flat Stanley even tried some haggis.  Haggis is made from the heart, lungs and liver of a sheep and is the national dish of Scotland.

Flat Stanley really also really enjoyed the wedding dance.  The first part of the wedding dance was a ceilidh, which is a form of Scottish folk dancing that is a little bit like barn dancing.  Overall, Flat Stanley had a great time and he hopes to be invited to another Scottish wedding.

  1. How did Flat Stanley like that sheep heart, lungs, and liver stuff? We don't think we would like to eat that here in Castlewood! Did Flat Stanley get to dance with the bride at the wedding??
